ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GOLF COURSES IN DENMARK

Scenic area
Welcome to one of Denmark's most beautiful parkland courses. Rungsted Golf Club is located in a scenic area with rich wildlife. The course lies in a varied terrain with MANY trees, bushes, lakes and streams - all located in a way that makes a golf round of a nature experience as well as an exciting golf experience.

Part of the course is on piet soil, which means that even in the driest summers, the course never dries out completely, and is therefore always an exciting challenge on a soft turf and slightly moist greens.

Designed by MacKenzie
The course was designed according to drawings by Charles Atkinson MacKenzie - brother of the probably better known golf course designer Alister MacKenzie, who was the architect at Augusta National, among others.

Hidden challenges
The first nine holes, with its two par-3 holes and seven par-4 holes, present challenges for any golfer. The last nine holes of the course are perceived as somewhat easier - both because the pa- 5 holes are here and because several of the par-4 holes are fairly short.

The signature hole with the great rhododendrons
The 15th hole, where the rhododendrons bloom in May and early June, is a beautiful experience and the course's signature hole.

Toilets and water on the course
There is a toilet on the course at 12th green (situated in the building to the left of green). There are water posts on holes 2, 8, 11 and 12
